Loren Hsiao's Mission Statement: I help clients reach their financial goals through time tested, well-proven and consistent strategies. 1) I feel I have a personal obligation to guide clients as if their money was my own money. I want to be sensitive in understanding a client's circumstances, as if I was personally involved in their situation. 2) I believe in a process that addresses risk management first, then wealth accumulation, and finally preservation. 3) A client's success in accomplishing financial goals and objectives is driven off my integrity to hold clients accountable to the very things they have expressed to me as important in their lives and a client's willingness to be held accountable. This is NOT a transactional relationship; it is an ongoing process and relationship. 4) I take my career and responsibilities seriously, as this may affect a client's financial security, children's education, and retirement income. 5) Open and honest communication is essential. I expect clients to tell me how they feel and what they desire in all points of our discussions.
Loren Hsiao's Journey with Northwestern Mutual
During Loren Hsiao's final months at Texas A&M University, he spent a lot of time trying to figure out what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in an environment where he could truly make a daily impact in the lives of others. He did not find the prospect of working to improve the bottom line of a large company to be attractive. That type of career path would continually lead him to wonder if he was actually making an impact - a true impact.
Loren credits his father David Hsiao for instilling in him a strong work ethic, but also a desire to be an entrepreneur. As an immigrant from Taiwan, David Hsiao left behind his family, his newlywed bride and his culture to make a better life for his family. One year after coming to the United States, David and Jenny Hsiao were reunited and have since raised their sons to understand the importance of hard work and sacrifice. Loren took that message to heart as he sought to find a balance between as successful career as well as time for family. An introduction to the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network enabled him to integrate the two desires of making an impact and being an entrepreneur into his career. Through his affiliation with Northwestern Mutual, he found an opportunity to serve his clients through a company that abided in a philosophy he valued.
This common philosophy is the backbone of an amazing company and his success. It is a message of commitment to the client and serving them first.
In April 2011, Loren Hsiao helped open a district network office with Northwestern Mutual in Allen, Texas. Within one year, his office has grown to over 20 financial representatives and staff that make up his firm, known as the Texas Financial Group-Allen. As managing director, Loren Hsiao is able to combine his talents of financial planning for his clients with his love of coaching and guiding new financial representatives that come to work at Texas Financial Group-Allen.
